When a loved one passes away, they take with them a piece of those who loved them. The ‘Remembrance Butterfly’ is a symbol of love and a reminder of the ongoing connection we have with those we’ve lost. It is our hope that these butterflies will bring some comfort in remembering there will always be an unbroken connection between a Donor Family and their loved one.
The butterflies pictured here are handmade by volunteers just like you (recipients, donor families, friends and family) and are sent out to Donor Families as a symbol of love and a reminder of the ongoing connection with those we’ve lost.
We would love to have you join us for our monthly Remembrance Butterfly– making sessions at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia.
If you are interested in joining us or learning more about this program, please send an email to Alex Cummings at alex@altruvision.org or give us a call at 215-563-1679. We look forward to seeing you!
